Most other courses available online teach JavaScript by first teaching the language syntax, then features, and only then, some of them teach a few simple examples.
In my opinion, that approach is highly inefficient. You can spend literally thousands of hours watching courses like that, and not gaining a lot from it.
This course flips the "traditional" approach on its head.
In the very first lecture, in just under 10 minutes, you will go from having no knowledge of JavaScript, to making a simple quiz game (you can watch this first lecture for free, right now).
In the video that follows the first lecture, we will discuss only the JavaScript used in the recipe, to reinforce what we just learned (this second video is also included in the course preview).
This second video is followed up with an exercise to reinforce your learning.
So, this course has this pattern: Example - Theory - Practice.
The above pattern is repeated throughout the course.
