This course integrates four filters which J.Paul has found to be vitally helpful in one-to-one fundraising.  The core teaching revolves around concepts central to fundamental tactics, the sacredness of the task, and the fun to be had in this work.  The donor cycle (aka “moves management”) is reviewed as a solid guide in cultivating relationships and moving individuals to a point where they are considering a gift.  Because many people feel awkward or hesitant when it comes to asking for (or even talking about) money, Patrick Lencioni’s concepts from the book “Getting Naked” will be reviewed for their good help in overcoming these fears.  Finally, a simple tool for creating financial development strategy and managing/measuring results will be presented for feedback and interaction.
